Keys to Fitness: Find Your Soulmate Workout

We’ve all heard the saying, “find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life,” right? Well the same rings true with exercise.

Those of you who think you don’t enjoy exercise, please don’t throw in the towel yet . . . keep searching. Your soulmate workout is out there. Once you find it you will never look back. Trust me.

Start by asking yourself a few questions:

(Be honest now, this is all for you.)

  • Do you prefer to workout on your own or in a group?
  • Do you prefer to workout indoors or outdoors?
  • Do you prefer high energy/intensity, with music pumping/party atmosphere or something more relaxed and lower impact/intensity?

Try anything and everything that appeals to you (even just the slightest little bit. You never know, it could be the one!).

Your soulmate workout may be one perfectly matched workout, or a combination of programs.

Only time will tell.

The important thing is that you don’t give up. If at first you don’t succeed try, try again!

Once you find your soulmate work out you will never and I mean NEVER look back. You will count down the hours until your workout time (most days anyway, lets be honest, we all have days we we are just not feeling in the mood to workout).

You will feel energized before you even begin.

For me (Emma), my soulmate workout is a combination of weight lifting and cardio.

My soulmate weightlifting program is Chalean Extreme. Now this is not just any weight lifting. I’m talkin’ heavy duty weights (I LOVE IT!!! Don’t fear the heavy weights ladies. Muscle burns fat, baby!).

My soulmate cardio workout is the beloved Turbo Fire. It’s high energy, high impact, super fun and guaranteed to make you feel the burn in all the right places (you know you love it!).

Don’t be shy, get out there and give something new a try. You might be surprised, not just at where your soulmate workout has been hiding all these years, but also what you are capable of.

I’ll be starting from scratch with Chalean Extreme and plan to document my progress along the way. I would love it if you would join me.

    So i just ordered Chalean and Turbo fire. Super excited about the challenge. I did a marathon before having Fin and Love the training. Mainly running with my sister who is awesome!!!

    Love this analogy! After not being in to sports as a kid (I hated team sports and competition), I’ve found my soulmate workouts in long walks (with stories on ipod) and yoga. Wish there were more weights in there, but I just don’t keep up with that. I loved hula hooping too! It is high cardio and a ton of fun!
