Workout Wednesday 14-11-12

 

Sometimes you want a workout thats quick but still intense.

That my friends is what we are doing today. A combination of resistance exercises with some cardio intervals to mix things up a little and really, REALLY rev up your metabolism and burn some serious calories.

Are you in?

Good, lets do this –

Firstly we need to warm up for 5 minutes or so. Run on the spot, do jumping jacks, jump rope, dance around the living room, do step ups on the stairs. Anything to get you warm.

Then we get. it. done.

Grab yourself a set of weights, something to challenge yourself. You are strong, you have big energy, You. Can. Do. It! We are going to perform the following circuit through 2-3 times with a 1 min break between each round. 

Ready . . . lets do this –

Then finish with a nice little cool down, maybe take a slow walk or something anything to help bring the heart rate down, then finish with few stretches.

Don’t skip the stretch people, it’s like dessert for your body. I know I’ve talked before about how much I love it, stretching really is one of the best things you can do for your body – please don’t skip it. You deserve this little treat, you worked hard :)
